Chris Newton

One of the most decorated British cyclists ever; Newton has been representing his country for nearly fifteen years winning medals at the last three Olympic Games, to go with numerous World and Commonwealth Games’ medals.

Last August Chris picked up Bronze in the Points Race at the Beijing Olympics, the fourth Olympiad he has competed at.

In addition to his successes on track, Chris is a prolific winner on the domestically, having won the Overall Premier Calendar title twice, in 1998 and 2007. Abroad too Newton is a proven winner as far back as 1996 when he took the King of the Mountains title at the Tour of Langkawi in Malaysia. Since then wins have followed in prestigious races such as the Olympia Tour (in the Netherlands) and the Circuit des Mines (in France) to name but two.
