Rapha Condor win the FBD Ras, Ireland · 26/05/09

FBD Insurance Ras International Stage Race – Ireland:
Race Winner – Simon Richardson

The FBD Insurance Ras Stage race finished on Sunday with Rapha-Condor’s Simon Richardson in the leader’s yellow jersey.

The highlight was the superb teamwork shown by the Rapha-Condor riders throughout this 8-stage race. Starting with Simon’s move in the main break on stage 2, superb tactical moves on stage 5 moving Simon into yellow and selfless riding by the team to defend the lead over the last 3 days of racing.

Every member of the team rode superbly for the win and got their rewards with the overall lead in both the individual and team competitions.

6th Chris Newton
29th Kristian House
30th Tom Southam
1st Overall Team

Well done to the team, Manager John Herety and background staff. John has now steered 4 riders to victory in the Ras including Kristian House and Chris Newton(twice).
