Simon Cole was on the roadside in France as the Rapha Condor team competed in the Mi-Aout Bretonne stage race.
Just to say that we had a great day watching the team race out from Pont Scorff on Stage 3.
Thank you to Kristian for chatting at the start with the kids and doing some signing; they chose to watch the race rather than go to the beach as a consequence! They were very excited when the team car stopped; thanks for the postcards – they are now in holiday scrapbooks. The excitement when the water bottle came our way was frenzied – a lovely gesture, much appreciated.
We had to buy the local paper as we dashed for the ferry home on Saturday to find out how everyone did on day 4. When we got home my eight year old Ben was straight out on his bike practising his sprinting!
Here are a couple of shots that we took of Kris and Tom (leading past the gate of our holiday house!). Thanks again,
Simon (on behalf of the group of 13, roadside outside Pont Scorff).
