Deano 2nd in Dumfries Elite Circuit Series Race · 29/05/10

Dean Downing was hoping to begin the defence of his Elite Circuit Series title with a victory in the opening round in Dumfries. In the event Dean finished a close second to an in form Andy Wilkinson who’s Endura team matched the Rapha Condor Sharp boys blow for blow throughout an active and exciting race. Dean had been delivered to the finish in good style with a leadout from teammate Darren Lapthorne. However, clipping a barrier on the final corner slowed him enough to allow Wilkinson to take the win.
