Blackpool Grand Prix · 07/07/09
It is always tough to follow a good result and the previous week’s National Road Race Championship victory was the team’s best result so far this season.
At the Blackpool GP some of our younger riders were given the chance to mix it with the big boys and show what they are made of. They rode well and made it into all of the important moves of the race. When it came to the finale, both Matt Cronshaw and Liam Holohan were in the front group. With 6km to go Liam buried himself on the front of the break, setting Matt up for the sprint which he won in style. Well done to the team’s young guns with the win.
