The weather was kind to us and there was not a spot of rain in the air for the 3rd Smithfield Nocturne race on Saturday. There was plenty to keep the crowd entertained before the main event with the folding bike races, support events including a skid competition and the guys from Rollapalluza with their superb roller racing.

The main race was very exciting and run off at incredible speed. Our boys featured throughout the hour of attacking racing around Smithfield Market. Crowds were large and all of the local restaurants and bars looked like they were doing a roaring trade. There were also plenty of celebrities in the crowd including Jeff Banks, Paul Smith and three times Paris-Roubaix winner Johan Museeuw.
