Rapha Condor Summer Race Series Wrap-up · 20/07/10

The Race Series finished on a high note this weekend with Lewis Atkins (Orbea) comfortably finishing in the E/1/2/3 bunch with enough points to land himself the overall win without winning a single race, proving that consistent high finishing is enough to clinch the league. Special congratulations should be made to Germain Burton of De Ver who came fifth in the league after competing in only two of the six events and at the age of fifteen. One to watch for the future!

Junior rider Dante Carpenter won the overall for the 3/4 league despite only competing in two of the six races, both of which he won, and Charlotte Blackman won the Women’s league by a slender margin by taking a first and second placing.

The LVRC league was also hotly contested, with victories going to David Farrow (AB’s), Dominique Gabellini (CD’s), Oliver MacPherson (EF’s) and Arnie Russell (GH’s).

Well done to all winners and to all the participants of the series – it was a great success and we hope to see you all again next summer!
